Service Description

Coffee and Tea experience. Create your own stunning coffee and tea essentials in this course, where functionality meets artistry. From coffee mugs and tumblers to creamer pots with spouts, sugar bowls, and snack dishes, you’ll craft a complete set that transforms your daily rituals into a thoughtful, handmade experience. Using a mix of slab, coil, pinch pot, and sculpting techniques, you’ll explore creative ways to design cohesive, theme-based sets. A major focus of the course will be on crafting decorative handles for your mugs and tumblers, balancing comfort with visual appeal. You'll also refine functional details like smooth spouts for creamer pots and bowls for sugar and snacks. Throughout the course, we’ll help you refine your style, experiment with textures, and explore ideas that bring harmony to your pieces. By the end, you’ll have a beautiful collection of handcrafted ceramics to elevate your coffee and tea moments. Please bring a hand towel that you don’t mind getting dirty. Since working with clay can be a bit messy, you might get some on your clothes or experience light water splashes, so wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Please bring an apron if you want to. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as well. Each week the instructor will guide you on additional materials you can bring to add to your decorating techniques.
