Service Description
Curious about the wheel, but not quite ready to commit to a full series? This is a wonderful place to start. This 3-week class is an extension of our single-class series, designed to introduce you to the three main pillars of wheel throwing: throwing, trimming, and glazing. Over three sessions, you'll get real, hands-on time with each stage of the process — enough to get a genuine feel for what wheel throwing is like, from centering your first lump of clay to glazing a finished piece. A gentle note: wheel throwing is a skill that takes real time and practice to develop, and three weeks is just a first taste. This class isn't a substitute for our full beginner series; it's designed for people who want to try the practice in a lower-commitment way before deciding if they'd like to go further. If you fall in love with it (many people do), we'd love to see you in a full series next. Prerequisites None — all are welcome, no experience needed. Firing 1 firing ticket included What to Bring Hand towel — the studio does not provide towels or paper towels. Trimming tool — you'll want one by class 2; we'll go over which one to get during your first session. We're so glad you're curious about the wheel, and we can't wait to have you in the studio
