Service Description
Limited edition classes do not have multiple dates, they are offered seasonally or once every few months Join us for a special workshop where you’ll create up to 6 clay elements to assemble into a beautiful, personalized wind chime. All ceramic pieces create a beautiful ringing sound naturally and when put together they interact and amplify this sound. Guided by our instructor, you’ll learn various decorating techniques, including screen printing, painting with underglaze making textures, and carving into clay. Each participant can make up to 6 clay pieces, such as slabs and small pinch pots, which you’ll arrange into a custom wind chime design. At the end, we’ll demonstrate how to string and assemble your pieces once they’re fired and ready for pick-up. The Mud and Easel team will handle the firing process and apply a clear glaze or your preferred glaze to your finished pieces. If you'd like to create more than six elements, additional firing is available at $5 per piece. Your completed wind chime elements will be ready for pick-up in 3 to 5 weeks. What to Bring: A hand towel you don’t mind getting dirty. Any objects for adding texture, like leaves, flowers, or fabric.Wear comfortable clothes. If you have questions about using specific textures, feel free to contact the studio and send photos of any items you’re considering.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Booking Policy Refund Policy: Bookings for classes, workshops, events, and private lessons canceled 14 or more calendar days before the scheduled date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 8 days prior to the class or event will be eligible for a 50% refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made 7 days or less before the class/course are not eligible for a refund. Studio-Initiated Cancellations In the event that the studio needs to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, equipment outages, weather delays, or other urgent situations, we will notify all enrolled students as early as possible before the scheduled class. To accommodate the missed session, the instructor will provide a new sign-up sheet with potential times for a makeup class. In cases where the event is entirely canceled or cannot be rescheduled, the studio will issue refunds as follows: Workshops: A full refund will be provided. Series Classes: A partial refund equivalent to the missed class(es) will be offered.
