Service Description

Our monthly membership is designed for potters who want regular access to a creative, community-centered space. Members enjoy the freedom to work at their own pace, on their own schedule, during all available open studio hours. These sessions do not have any guidance - only for experienced potters. What’s Included: * Unlimited open studio access during posted open hours * Clay (studio clay only) * Essential tools * Studio glazes and brushes * Use of wheels, handbuilding tools, and work tables * Access to both wheel room and handbuilding room (see open hour calendar for availability) Please bring hand towels (studio does not have paper towels) any other specific tools that you may require. Membership Dates: * Memberships run from the 1st to the last day of each month. * You can purchase a membership until the 5th of the month, but it will still expire on the last day of that same month. * We do not offer prorated memberships or extensions. Access & Scheduling: * Members are welcome to stay as long as they need during open studio hours—whether it’s a quick visit to check on a piece or a long working session. * There are no fixed time slots, but access is limited to posted open studio hours. * The studio is typically closed 4–6 days each month and there will be no open hours posted during those days. * Always check the open studio calendar for room availability. We are a small space and both rooms are not always open. Space & Etiquette: * First-come, first-serve for space in both rooms. * Be mindful of others: if you’ve been working a while and see someone waiting, please be considerate and make space. * Leave your work area clean and tools in place. Treat the studio with the same care and respect you’d expect from others. Firing Policy (Not Included in Membership): * Firing is charged per piece: * Small pieces: $10 * Medium bowls/vases: $15 * Larger pieces: $20+ (please confirm pricing with staff) * The firing fee includes both bisque and glaze firing. * Even if you only use bisque firing, the full fee still applies. * Label and check with studio staff before placing any work on the bisque shelf.
