For those seeking focused, personalized guidance to elevate their craft, our private lessons offer an unparalleled opportunity to work one-on-one with an experienced instructor. Whether your goal is to refine your throwing technique, develop advanced handbuilding skills, or explore the art of surface design and painting, these sessions are tailored entirely to your individual needs. Each month includes four 30-minute private sessions, scheduled at mutually convenient times between the instructor and student. Lessons are available in wheel throwing, handbuilding, or painting, with demonstrations provided as needed—particularly for wheel and decorative techniques. While wheel and decoration sessions may involve live demos, handbuilding and painting often take a more conceptual approach, with structured guidance for designing and planning your projects. Please note: Private lessons are focused on skill development and artistic direction. Studio time for making, materials, and firings are not included. Students are encouraged to use open studio hours or explore our membership options to bring their projects to completion. All sessions run within a single calendar month—from the 1st to the last day—and must be scheduled within that period. This is an intimate, highly customized experience designed for artists who value close mentorship, technical precision, and a deeper exploration of their creative voice.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Booking Policy Refund Policy: Bookings for classes, workshops, open hours, and private lessons canceled 14 or more calendar days before the scheduled date will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing charge. Cancellations made 8 days prior to the class or event will be eligible for a 50% refund minus a $10 processing charge. Unfortunately, cancellations made 7 days or less before the class/course are not eligible for a refund or a reschedule. NOTE: PRIVATE EVENTS: private events once booked cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. There is no refunds for private events. Studio-Initiated Cancellations In the event that the studio needs to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, equipment outages, weather delays, or other urgent situations, we will notify all enrolled students as early as possible before the scheduled class. To accommodate the missed session, the instructor will provide a new sign-up sheet with potential times for a makeup class. In cases where the event is entirely canceled or cannot be rescheduled, the studio will issue refunds as follows: Workshops: A full refund will be provided. Series Classes: A partial refund equivalent to the missed class(es) will be offered.
